What is Nick Jr. Boost?

Nick Jr. Boost is a super fun, highly educational and fully personalized website for 3-6 year olds featuring their favorite Nick Jr. characters. We've teamed with leading curriculum experts and educators to create personalized games and activities that adapt and grow alongside your child's abilities. Offering over 250+ skills covering Math, Early Reading, Science, Creative Play and more, your child is guaranteed to learn and have a blast doing it… all in a safe, personalized and ad-free environment.

How are Nick Jr. Boost games different than other online games for kids?

Nick Jr. Boost games are not only fun, they also take a deep dive into curriculum-based skills that help your child master pre-k, kindergarten and 1st grade subjects like math, early reading, Spanish and more. Nick Jr. Boost games also provide personalized learning based on your child's abilities. This means that the games level up and down based on how well your child is doing, which allows your child to move along at his or her own pace. Their progress is saved so that when they return to the game, they start off on the level they last left off.

What will my child learn on Nick Jr. Boost?

On Nick Jr. Boost, children are greeted by our host -- Moose A. Moose, a familiar and trusted friend. From there, they can team up with Dora, Diego, Kai-Lan, The Backyardigans, Wonder Pets, and more in exciting, adventure-based games based on core curriculum subjects such as literacy, math, Spanish language, computer skills, music and art. In addition to gaming fun, kids can earn virtual rewards they can proudly exchange for digital prizes.

What is the educational philosophy behind Nick Jr. Boost?

Nick Jr. Boost was developed with an advisory board consisting of leading early childhood learning professionals and educators. Our goal is to make the most of the time children spend playing online with a "connected learning" approach. We start with topics and tales that grab children's interest, mix in favorite characters then use these ingredients to present concepts and skills that help kids learn. Why is this approach so effective? Because combining play with learning encourages children to dig deeper and develop a richer understanding.

What is the appropriate age for Nick Jr. Boost?

Nick Jr. Boost is geared for children in preschool through first grade, aged 3-6.

How can I see what my child is learning in Nick Jr. Boost?

The Parent Center is designed to keep Mom and Dad in the loop, providing an inside glimpse of your child's progress. As kids complete activities or advance to the next level, you can see this progress in your child's custom progress report. You'll get a snapshot of what subjects your child is playing most as well as very detailed info on each skill they've played in Boost. You'll be able to view the awards they've won for mastering skills and find helpful suggestions of activities to extend the learning offline.

How do I sign up for the Nick Jr. Boost service?

You can register for Nick Jr. Boost here. You'll be asked to create an account and select a billing plan. If you select the monthly plan there is a 7-day free trial. If you cancel within the 7 day trial period, you time period, you will not be billed.

How do I cancel during my 7-Day Free Trial? (monthly plans)

If you had selected a monthly plan with a 7-Day Free Trial, please login and click 'My Account' on the left side of the 'Home' page. From 'My Account,' select the 'Account Type' tab and click the cancel link at the bottom of the page.

Payment/Billing

When is my credit card charged?

If you selected a plan with a 7-day free trial option, you will be billed on the first day after the trial period has expired. If you signed up for a monthly plan, you will be billed on the first day that your free trial is expired, and then billed again each month. If you selected a Quarterly plan you will be billed $20.85 every three months until you cancel. If you selected an Annual plan you will be billed $59.40 each year until you cancel.

Please note that all subscription billing is recurring. This means that if you sign up for a yearly package, for example, you will automatically be billed every year until you cancel or modify your subscription.

How can I change my subscription billing plan and what are my options?

If you would like to change your subscription, sign into Nick Jr. Boost and click on My Account at the top of any Nick Jr. Boost site page. Within your account pages, click on Account Type and select the new plan you would like to change to. Then follow the instructions to complete the change.

We offer several different subscription plans. Nick Jr. Boost regular subscription pricing is:

  • $9.95/month (billed every month)
  • $6.95/month ($20.85 billed once every three months)
  • $4.95/month ($59.40 billed once a year)

Please note: All subscription billing is recurring. This means that if you sign up for a quarterly package, for example, you will automatically be billed every three months until you cancel or modify your subscription.

Why was I charged $59.40 (or $20.85) when I selected the $4.95 (or $6.95) a month subscription plan?

We do not offer a $4.95 or $6.95 a month subscription plan. The $4.95 you see quoted is what an Annual or Quarterly Nick Jr. Boost subscription breaks down to per month, compared to a Monthly subscription for $9.95. The Annual fee for a Nick Jr. Boost subscription is $59.40. The Quarterly fee for a Nick Jr. Boost subscription is $20.85.

My Account

How can I update or change my credit card information?

If you need to change your credit card information, you cannot currently do that yourself on our website. You will need to contact the Nick Jr. Boost support team and we can change that for you over the phone. Please fill out our contact form with your phone number and a good time to contact you and we'll be happy to help out.

How can I renew an expired or cancelled Nick Jr. Boost account?

We regret to say that the Nick Jr. Boost website is currently experiencing a bug that will not allow previous subscribers to sign in and reactivate their accounts. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience. However, you should be able to create a brand new Nick Jr. Boost subscription using the same email address and password. Because it will be a new subscription, previously saved game data and marbles will not be available, but don't worry! Once you have created your new subscription and added your children to your account, please let us know and we will be happy to manually add the remaining amount of marbles from your old account to your new account.

How do I cancel my paid subscription?

To cancel your paid subscription, please login and click 'My Account' at the top of the 'Home' page or any page on the site. From 'My Account,' select the 'Account Type' link and click the cancel link at the bottom of the page. Follow the cancellation steps to complete the cancellation process. After cancellation, your access to the Nick Jr. Boost service will continue for the months you have paid. Once cancelled, you will not be able to renew your account due to a bug in our system. If you decide you would like to continue with Nick Jr. Boost after you cancel your account, you will need to create a new account.

When will I receive my Nick Jr. DVD?

For new subscribers who select and pay for an Annual or Quarterly plan, we will send you our Time To Play DVD with episodes to favorite Nick Jr. shows as a thank you gift. You will receive your DVD within 4-6 weeks after your first subscription payment. The DVD will be sent to the Shipping Address you entered during the registration sign up.

NOTE: The cost of pre-paid cards does not include a Nick Jr. DVD.

Why doesn't my Nick Jr. Boost login work?

Your login may not be working because the email and password you provided at time of sign up is not being entered correctly. If you continue to have problems, you can retrieve your password by going to the Nick Jr. Boost login page and clicking the "Forgot Password?" link. If you do not receive the Forgot Password email, please contact us and we'll help you retrieve your login info.

What kind of computer do I need?

You need a PC that has Windows 7, XP or Vista or a Mac running on OS X or greater. You will also need Flash Player 10 or higher. Below are other technical requirements for the Nick Jr. Boost experience:

Browser Requirements

A browser is a software program that lets you surf the Web. You're using a browser right now to visit your internet service provider web site. For PC users, we officially support Internet Explorer version 7 or higher and Firefox 3.0 or higher. For Macintosh users, we support Safari 5.0 or higher and Firefox 3.0 or higher.

Flash Player

Nick Jr. Boost is designed to work with a Flash Player version 10 or higher. Your browser likely already has the flash player, however, if your Flash player is out of date you will be prompted to update. Or you can get the latest version of Flash Player - it's a free download from Adobe.

Hardware & Software Requirements

Nick Jr. Boost is designed to be viewed on a 1280 x 1024 or higher pixel display. If you have to scroll left and right in order to see the entire page, check your monitor's settings to adjust your resolution. Please set your monitor colors to "millions" for the best results.

Pre-Paid Cards

My pre-paid card has a myNOGGIN logo on it but the site has a Nick Jr. Boost logo on it, will it still work?

Yes! Nick Jr. Boost is the same great service as myNOGGIN, just with a new name. Any cards with either a Nick Jr. Boost or myNOGGIN logo will work at http://www.NickJrBoost.com/card.

How do I redeem a pre-paid card?

If you purchased or received a pre-paid card, it can be redeemed at www.NickJrBoost.com/card.

Why doesn't my pre-paid card work when I try to redeem it?

Please make sure that your pre-paid card has not already been redeemed - Nick Jr. Boost pre-paid cards can only be redeemed once. If you continue experiencing problems redeeming your pre-paid card, please contact us.

How do I continue my subscription after my pre-paid card time is up?

Purchase another pre-paid card from a participating retailer. Then, go to http://www.NickJrBoost.com/card and select "Existing Pre-Paid User." You will be asked to enter your login information (Email and Password you created when first signing up with a pre-paid card) as well as the code from the new pre-paid card.

You can also convert your pre-paid card account to a traditional subscription account with a valid credit card. If your prepaid account has expired, you can log in and will be presented with instructions on how to convert your expired prepaid account. If your still within the terms of your pre-paid card and want to convert it to a credit card account, log into Nick Jr. Boost and click My Account at the top of any site page. Then click the 'Convert to Paid Service' link and follow the instructions to convert the account.
